Elrod Friedman LLP is proud to announce that former Cook County Assessor Legal Counsel, Christina Lynch, has joined the firm, focusing her practice on municipal law, government ethics, election law, and real estate.
Prior to joining Elrod Friedman, Christina served as Legal Counsel and Ethics Officer at the Office of the Cook County Assessor, where she acted as internal legal advisor to the Assessor on litigation and all matters related to the statutory powers of the Assessor and the Cook County Assessor’s Office.
Christina has extensive experience advising government leadership on legal and compliance matters including, real estate taxation and tax exemption, labor and employment, diversity, discrimination, and election law and electoral board governance. Christina also has experience working in the private sector as a commercial litigator, representing individual and corporate clients in Illinois State and Federal Courts nationwide
Christina received her Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Miami University.
