About Grant Glazebrook

Grant Glazebrook practices municipal, land use, and zoning law. He advises public and private sector clients on local government and land use matters, including zoning, real estate development, municipal litigation, and statutory and constitutional compliance.

Before joining Elrod Friedman, Grant practiced at a large international firm, where he represented clients in complex tort cases, consumer class actions, and multidistrict litigation at all stages of trial and appeal, including multiple trial teams. Grant leverages his litigation experience to help municipal clients proactively manage risk, strengthen the record supporting their decisions, and pursue creative solutions.

Grant is admitted to practice in both Illinois and Missouri, giving him a regional perspective that strengthens his work with municipal and private sector clients across Illinois. Prior to law school, Grant worked on several local and national political campaigns. His experience serving a wide range of communities helps him understand each client’s unique legal needs, local priorities, and policy goals.

In law school, Grant served as a note and comment editor for the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business and a constitutional law teaching assistant. His published note received the Lowden-Wigmore prize as the journal’s top student publication.
