About Teri Krcmarik
Teri Krcmarik is a Paralegal who brings to her attorneys and clients more than 30 years of experience. She specializes in the areas of Real Estate, Eminent Domain and Civil Litigation. She is well-respected for her thorough organizational skills, and she is a trusted asset to her colleagues who seek her advice and input.
She supports the firm’s Real Estate practice with an emphasis on the purchase and sale of commercial and residential real estate properties. Her responsibilities include due diligence review, especially the review of title commitments, underlying recorded title documents and surveys. She also prepares closing documents, transfer declarations, escrow agreements, tenant estoppel certificates, bulk sales applications and other closing-related documents. She also conducts real estate and property tax research.
Relative to civil litigation, Teri assists with preparing pleadings, petitions, motions, summonses, subpoenas, appearances, disclosures, orders, affidavits, discovery and other various litigation documents. She has experience with electronically filing pleadings in the counties of Cook, Lake, McHenry, DuPage, Livingston, Kane, Kendall, Kankakee, Will, Winnebago and Champaign. She also assists with the discovery process, including document collection and organization, review and preparation for production.
Teri also has experience with corporate assistance in the formation, maintenance and dissolution of various business entities, including drafting annual reports, resolutions, obtaining EINs and related corporate needs.
She is married to her husband, Tom, of 28 years, and they have one high-school-age child. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling on road trips, especially Route 66, locating the best diners, biking, running and dancing.
